My name is Abraham Wilson, a proud Māori originally from a little place on the east coast in the north island called Gisborne. Father of 3 and proud partner I have making tattoos for around 15 years. As a family we relocated to Christchurch in 2013  to give my youngest daughter a better chance at life, born deaf and later diagnosed as Autistic, and intellectually disabled, not an easy move but a necessary one have definitely benefited our family.

As a tattoo artist I strive to make the best tattoos I can for my clients in all styles. But in recent years moko, the art of Maori tattoo and kapahaka has become my passion reconnecting myself and my whanau to our roots.

I also enjoy making American traditional, Japanese, Anime, black and grey realism and script tattoos.

A big thanks goes to all the people who I have tattooed in my 16 years but also to those who I am yet to meet.

I’ll see you all at Blank Canvas Tattoo and Art
